Going Green Tampa

I recently got my hair cut and colored by Jules, and it's hands-down the best hair experience of my life! I usually get my hair cut at Aveda or Paul Mitchell schools, and the hair never comes out perfect. This time, I decided to leave it to the pro. Jules' place is conveniently located in Land O' Lakes, where I live, but she's so good, I'd gladly make the drive from anywhere else in the state to get to her! She gave me a great haircut that falls in the right place, so minimal styling is necessary. She gave me some sassy Bettie Page-like bangs and a beautiful golden-reddish brown single-process color to cover up those darn grays. My hair has never looked better. She also uses all organic products. The hair dye did not reak of all those strange chemicals they put in the traditional ones, and the color still looks great! Jules is also a fascinating, extremely sweet and awesome gal herself. Had a wonderful time chatting with her while she did her thing with my hair. Highly recommended and I plan on being a repeat customer!

I have a friend whose hair I've always admired and asked her who does it. "Jules!" was the answer. I finally decided last year to have Jules do my hair even though I don't live nearby her. Well, it was worth the drive. I had long curly permed hair for years and wanted a change. I told her to give me something modern, something fun, and most importantly, something easy to style. She picked the perfect short style for me - a short inverted bob - that every single person who's commented on it said it was perfect for me. Since I don't live nearby, I have had to get it trimmed by four other people in the past year. They did nowhere near as good a job as she does. Yesterday I decided to make the looooong drive to have her do it again, so it would be done RIGHT. She even out did herself this time and added just a bit of cute swoop bangs to the front, and I opted this time for an organic color treatment. Now, I've colored my hair for thirty years and didn't know you could get beautiful color without the STINKY SMELL that lasts all the way until the next wash! I absolutely love the color she picked out and people commented on it all this morning! It feels so very soft and very healthy. Jules is by far the best hair stylist I've ever had in my life. Her commitment to living organically is a great example and her professionalism and work ethic is sorely lacking in this day and age. I give her the highest recommendation possible!

Jules is the only organic stylist I have been to. I love that she pays attention to my concerns and all of her suggestions for my hair have been great. I have never been a "salon girl." I am able to let Jules do what she thinks is best and I don't have to worry about my hair.

She is a caring, kind person who has helped me with more than my hair problems. I'm very thankful that I met Jules! (And so is my hair!)
