Lisa Custer

Lisa has always believed in reduce, reuse, recycle. When her son was born, she began looking for ways to raise him with these same principals. The idea of reducing our impact lead her to seek out sustainably grown and harvested food and support our local farmers. Reusing came in the form of cloth diapering, buying pre-owned toys from consignment stores and upcycling items that she already had. Recycling naturally fits in to their lifestyle whether it's curbside pickup or taking items to the local recycling center.

When Lisa began finding more and more local eco-friendly companies, she decided to list them online and use social media to spread the word about them. This lead to Going Green Tampa being established in April of 2010. Lisa has since become one of Tampa's representatives for Beyond Organic, a company that delivers farm fresh foods and toxic-free products.
