The Sustainable Living Project

The Sustainable Living project combines corporate sponsorship, volunteers, and non-profits with locally grown produce in an effort to decrease hunger in the Tampa Bay area. What Will Carey, the director of Tampa Bay Harvest, describes as mere “baby steps” has already been 1800 lbs of grown and distributed produce. This is substantial progress if taken into account that they only broke ground in April 2013.
