Going Green Tampa

How often do you go to a store and have a meaningful conversation with the shop owner/employees? In our fast paced world, some rarely stop to even ask how others are doing these days or simply say hello. This is not the case for a unique eco-friendly boutique in South Tampa.

I stopped by Arjuna Living today to pick up the organic face scrub that I like by Giddy Organics. While I was there the owner, Jen, myself and a friend ended up talking about everything from living in other cities and how they compare to Tampa, to living an eco-friendly lifestyle and how others see it as a fad.

Jen is quick to tell you where her fair-trade products come from or which local artist made what. You can tell she is someone who believes we should all be more conscious of our purchases and to think of where they come from as well as the impact the product has on people and the planet.

I encourage you to stop in and say hello, Tika will be waiting to greet you!
